Permits Filed for Start of Bally’s Las Vegas Strip Project

Bally’s has officially submitted its application to Clark County for its Las Vegas Strip project, which will accompany the Athletics Las Vegas ballpark. According to the application, the estimated completion date is the end of 2030, and the cost is $1.19 billion.

The application lists Bally’s expectation to apply for 13 building permits for its multiphase project, which consists of a hotel, casino, theatre, retail, and dining spaces, along with estimated contract valuations for each portion of the work.

The project’s start date was projected for December 2025, when the permits were submitted, with an estimated completion date of December 2030.

Initially, work will begin on a parking garage, a utility plant, a shared accessway, a 2,500-seat theatre, and a podium.

Bally’s has planned the order of its applications, with the last expected on May 8, 2028, for its $550 million Hotel tower superstructure buildout.

The work on the Athletics’ $2 billion ballpark has already started, with a planned completion date of 2028 for its 33,000-fan capacity stadium, built across nine acres, situated next to the 26-acre Bally’s project.
