Kalshi Secures $1 Billion Investment at a $22 Billion Valuation

Prediction market Kalshi has raised $1 billion in a Series F funding round at a valuation of $22 billion. Investors included investment management firms Coatue and others, such as Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, Paradigm, Morgan Stanley, and ARK Invest.

This investment comes amid the increased popularity of prediction markets in the US and Kalshi’s own rapid growth in the market.

Kalshi recorded $178 billion in annualized trading volume in April 2026, compared to $5.5 billion in April 2025. Most of this growth has occurred in the last six months, with trading volume growing from $52 billion to $178 billion during that period.

Kalshi added that its new capital would be directed toward hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, and insurance companies. It also said it would expand its product suite to include new risk products and additional broker integrations.

“There are few categories in recent history that have scaled this quickly outside of AI,” said Tarek Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Kalshi. “Event contracts could become a trillion-dollar market, and we’re still in the early stages of that transition.”
