FanDuel Unveils Updated Sportsbook Offerings For the MLB Season
Sportsbook operator FanDuel has announced a revamp to its MLB offering in its attempt to be known as the “Home of the Home Run.” As part of the update, the operator is introducing new betting markets focused on home runs, a free-to-play daily game, and enhanced user engagement features.
Looking at a more detailed view of the expanded features, the new game, titled Daily Dinger,will allow users to select one player a day to hit a home run. Winners will be awarded a profit boost that can be used the next day.
Expanded betting markets include home-run markets, allowing customers to bet on home runs with a ball speed of over 110mph. Exit-velocity markets will also be available, offering over/under bets tied to batted-ball speed, and futures same-game parlays that merge division, pennant, and World Series outcomes into a single bet.
Upgraded experience features include enhanced market data, player game logs, star player grids that allow users to bet on player props across multiple games, and player visibility, including starting lineups and confirmed batting orders.
“From new home run-specific markets to free-to-play experiences like Daily Dinger, these updates bring that vision to life. We are intentionally giving customers more ways to engage and greater confidence in their bets,” said Karol Corcoran, Managing Director at FanDuel.
