LIV Golf Announces Partnership with Prediction Market Group Novig

Professional golf tour LIV Golf has announced a new partnership with prediction market company Novig, which will be the first time a prediction market will be linked to a professional golf event.

The agreement coincides with the first Major tournament period of the golf season from April 9–12, and is significant as it extends LIV Golf’s commercial activity beyond its regular season schedule.

As part of the deal, Novig branding will appear on the left sleeve of seven LIV Golf players competing during this period. The list of players includes team captains and established professionals who have won seven Majors between them.

According to Novig, the collaboration also includes a series of digital and social media integrations. LIV Golf will feature Novig on its social media platforms for both player- and tournament-focused coverage to promote the brand.

In addition, Novig has revealed that it will set up dedicated prediction markets tied to the tournament, allowing users to engage in real-time trades. A related in-app contest will run alongside the competition, with a prize pool of 500,000 in Novig Cash credits.

“Novig is a place where winners are welcome—and LIV Golf’s roster is filled with winners, including former champions of the most prestigious tournament in golf—so this partnership was a natural fit,” said Jacob Fortinsky, co-founder and CEO of Novig.
