DraftKings Extends Multi-Year Agreement With GeoComply

DraftKings has extended its deal with compliance technology firm GeoComply, continuing a partnership that has been ongoing for more than a decade.

The agreement comes after the launch of DraftKings’ Super App, which lets customers access sportsbook or sports prediction markets depending on their location, for which GeoComply will continue to provide real-time geolocation and compliance services.

According to GeoComply, the two companies have worked in support through major sporting events, times of high traffic, and industry-wide disruptions over the last ten years. The group emphasized that its technology is used in DraftKings’ risk management systems to support authentication, fraud detection, and decision-making, and that it processes 2.5 billion verification checks each month.

Speaking about the extended partnership, the Chief Executive Officer of GeoComply, Kip Levin, emphasized the importance of geolocation, saying, “The operators winning this next cycle are treating geolocation intelligence as critical trust infrastructure. DraftKings has done that for years. This extension reflects how seriously they take the architecture behind player trust, and it’s what lets them keep moving fast on everything else.”
