BetMGM Opens Poolside Sportsbook at Mandalay Bay Beach Club
US sportsbook operator BetMGM has opened a poolside sportsbook in Las Vegas at the Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay.
According to the operator, one of the beach club’s 23 cabanas has been converted into a BetMGM sportsbook, allowing bettors to place in-person wagers at an outdoor wagering window. The club also boats three heated pools and can host 2,000 guests.
“Tailgate Beach Club has quickly become one of the most exciting places in Las Vegas to watch live sports, and the addition of the BetMGM Sportsbook gives fans another way to get in on the action,” Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, commented.
“As more people travel to Las Vegas for marquee sporting events, we’re focused on creating unique experiences that bring together sports, entertainment and betting,” he furthered.
With the addition of its new poolside sportsbook, BetMGM now operates 10 sportsbooks at MGM properties located throughout the Strip. Mandalay Bay is BetMGM’s first poolside betting experience, with guests able to sign up via the BetMGM app or on-site.
The sportsbook currently operates in 31 markets across the globe, most recently launching in Alberta when the market went live July 13.
