Fanatics Becomes an Official Sportsbook of the NFL
Fanatics has become an official sportsbook partner of the NFL, filling a role that has remained open since the league’s agreements with FanDuel, DraftKings, and Caesars came to an end in March this year.
Under the partnership, Fanatics gains promotional rights across NFL-owned media channels, including advertising during game broadcasts. It also gives the sportsbook access to hospitality and fan experiences at major events like the Super Bowl and NFL Draft.
In addition, Fanatics’ online casino, which currently operates in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, has received official status under the agreement.
The partnership comes as the NFL continues discussions with its former sportsbook partners FanDuel and DraftKings. The two gambling companies, alongside Caesars, reportedly paid the league almost $1 billion combined over the past five seasons.
According to sources, a key issue with those negotiations has been the cost of access to official NFL streaming data, which is exclusively distributed by Genius Sports. Sports betting platforms require access to the league’s official data to qualify for NFL or team sponsorships and advertising during games.
While Fanatics and the NFL are yet to reveal the financial conditions of the deal, it is anticipated that it will be announced before the start of the 2026-2027 season.
