After a long wait, bet365 prepares to launch in Pennsylvania
On Tuesday (July 16), prominent gambling company bet365 soft-launched in Pennsylvania. If all goes well, bet365 could receive final approval to launch online sports betting and iGaming in the state this week. bet365 first gained access to the PA market through a partnership with Presque Isle Downs & Casino back in January 2023.
916 Gaming and the Virginia Lottery launch ‘Team USA’ iLottery game
iGaming provider 916 Gaming has introduced its latest iLottery game, ‘Team USA.’ Exclusively available on the Virginia Lottery website and mobile app, this new game allows players to engage in Olympic sports like archery, track and field, and gymnastics and potentially win up to $300,000. “This game combines the excitement of sports with the thrill of lottery play,” commented 916 Gaming co-founder and CEO Steven Astrachan.

The WSOP is heading back to paradise this December
The WSOP Paradise, the second edition of the winter tournament series, will return this December. Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas will host the event from December 6 to December 19, 2024, in partnership with GGPoker. Bovoda ceases operations in West Virginia
Three weeks after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from the West Virginia Lottery Commission, Bovada’s parent company has started limiting users’ access to its sportsbook and casino services in West Virginia. This move marks the eighth state in which access has been restricted.
Four Queens Hotel & Casino Las Vegas to undergo major renovation
The Four Queens Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas announced Monday, July 15, that it is spending $24 million to renovate the rooms in its North Tower, which has not been revamped since the late 1990s. “We can gut it and make it all fresh,” commented Four Queens’s General Manager, Tim Lager.
